Evergreens
Evergreens are trees that hold their foliage all year, providing interest throughout the wintertime. Conifers are another type of cone-bearing tree that are often lumped together with evergreens. Both Evergreens and Conifers make great wind-breaks or privacy screens for your yard or landscape. A few of our popular evergreens this year have been: White Pine, Meyer Spruce and Black Hill Spruce. As with all of our trees, we receive new stock year-round so stop by or give us a call if you're looking for something specific!
Shade Trees
Our nursery stock changes constantly but a few of the many shade and ornamental trees that we typically carry include: Alder, Birch, Crabapple, Dogwood, Elm, Ginkgo, Hackberry, Linden, Locust, Magnolia, Maples, Oaks, and Redbuds.
Fruits
All of the fruit trees that we carry are hardy for Iowa, meaning that they can survive our cold winters and hot summers. We carry a selection of apples, pears, peaches, plums and cherries. In addition to fruit trees, we also offer a variety of fruit-bearing bushes like strawberries, raspberries and blackberries!
