Our houseplant section is a little slice of paradise...lush, ever-changing, and full of personality. From Pothos to Air Plants, our selection is always fresh, with new varieties arriving all the time (and a few favorite staples you’ll always find here). If you’re hunting for that rare find, a gift that will grow with your loved one, or your first leafy friend, our team makes it easy and fun! We’ll help you choose, demonstrate potting if you need help, and send you home confident to keep it thriving.
Succulents & Cacti
Our succulents and cacti are the chillest plants around! Low effort, high reward, and SUPER aesthetic. They thrive on a little neglect, making them perfect for anyone who loves plants but not the constant watering schedule. You’ll find all kinds here, from quirky shapes to sculptural beauties (and even a few hanging varieties that make a statement all on their own). Come pick out your favorites!

Our garden décor and supplies section has everything you need to make your outdoor space bloom! You’ll find all the gardening gear you could need: soil, shovels,gloves, fertilizers, pest control, and more. For the bird lovers, we keep a beautiful sele ction of feeders, houses, and décor for your feathered visitors. And don’t miss our garden lights that add a warm glow to any night. At Blooms, we’ve got everything from the practical to the whimsical, so your garden can thrive, and look good doing it.
Local Artisans
We’re endlessly proud to feature the work of talented local artisans: creatives who pour their passion and skill into every piece. From High Brow Wine by Lubben Vineyard (grown and produced right in Anamosa, Iowa) to Barb’s stunning stained glass art born from her post-teaching passion project, our shelves are filled with stories worth sharing. Many of us at Blooms are artists ourselves (our owner Peter even hand-sketched the first Blooms logo on a napkin years ago!), so supporting other creatives in our means the world to us. Our artisan collection is always expanding, so every visit brings someone new to discover.
Memorial
We hope you never need this section...but if you do, please know we’re here with care, compassion, and an open heart. Our memorial collection includes plaques, angels, statues, cards, candles, cardinals, and plants chosen to bring comfort and remembrance. Every piece is meant to honor, to heal, and to hold meaning when words fall short. If you have something special in mind, we’re more than happy to help you find exactly what you’re envisioning.
